Sold!

Yesterday a student from 1st semester committed to moving into our apartment when we leave. This is great news for Shawn and Sonya, and we really didn't want to leave them with an empty place. But it gets better! Not only is she moving in; she's also buying the vast majority of the stuff we were selling! Yea! Now I don't have to drag everything out, price it, and then haul it to the yard sale! I'll still have some stuff to sell, but not nearly as much. Selling it all together will save me so much time over the next several days.

Believe it or not, we have had several people say that they're interested in buying our car. Shawn had casually mentioned it a time or two, so we offered it to him first since he's been so great to us. Just a few weeks ago, he spent half the day with Lee helping him get a couple parts he needed for the car and helping him put them on. Yesterday Shawn said for sure that he wants to buy the car from us because it will save him lots of money on gas (right now he's driving a gas-guzzling truck).

Everything seems to be wrapping up!
